South Shore Driving Academy

Since 1990, South Shore Driving Academy, Inc. has been the trusted choice for driver education on the South Shore. We’ve helped thousands of teens and adults across Plymouth County become safe, confident drivers. To make learning convenient, we offer two locations—in Hanson and South Weymouth—and since 2014, we’ve proudly partnered with South Shore Vocational Technical High School in Hanover to host classes right on their campus. Our instructors bring real-world experience from education, transportation, and law enforcement, and every one of them is licensed by the Registry of Motor Vehicles, a division of the Massachusetts Department of Transportation. For your peace of mind, all staff members, including administration, undergo annual C.O.R.I. checks. With a large fleet and multiple instructors, we can schedule driving appointments seven days a week. Safety is at the heart of everything we do, and we’re dedicated to preparing drivers for any situation on the road. Our classroom curriculum, available in several formats year-round, works hand-in-hand with behind-the-wheel training. We also offer private lessons for students not seeking a certificate, and an optional road test sponsorship service to support you on test day.
