Overview
The Go Team Driving School provides affordable drivers education and personalized, one-on-one driving lessons for teens and adults. We focus on delivering thorough instruction while keeping the learning process engaging and enjoyable. Our professional instructors are dedicated to helping students become safe, responsible drivers through Louisiana’s most reliable drivers education program.
The Go Team Driving School also offers several court-mandated certification courses, including our defensive driving course, anger management class, drug and alcohol education class (CHOICES), and effective decision-making class.
The Go Team Driving School is approved, certified, and licensed by the Louisiana Department of Public Safety & Corrections, the Office of Motor Vehicles, and the State of Louisiana.
We currently serve students from our locations in Baton Rouge and Addis, Louisiana.

Teen 30-Hour Driver's Education Course
Our Teen 38-Hour Drivers Ed Course includes the required: 30 hours of classroom instruction 8 hours of one-on-one behind-the-wheel driving instruction The OMV written exam The Road Skills test Each step is required to obtain your permit and/or driver's license. For students who have completed all requirements except for the 8-hours of behind the wheel instruction, we offer a separate Behind The Wheel Driving Package . Every student must obtain a Temporary Instructional Permit (TIP) before they may take any driving tests and/or sessions. While this course is for students under 18 years old , we also offer an Adult Drivers Ed Course. Adult 14-Hour Driver's Education Course
Our Adult 14-Hour Drivers Ed Course includes the required: 6 hours of classroom instruction 8 hours of one-on-one behind-the-wheel driving instruction The OMV written exam The Road Skills test Each step is required to obtain your permit and/or driver's license. For students who have completed all requirements except for the 8-hours of behind the wheel instruction, we offer a separate Behind The Wheel Driving Package . Behind-the-Wheel 8-Hour Driving Package
Our Behind-the-Wheel 8-Hour Driving Package is specifically for students who have completed the classroom portion of Driver's Education and need to schedule the required 8 hours of behind-the-wheel sessions . This is included in our Teen Driver's Ed Course and Adult Driver's Ed Course, so you only need to purchase this package under specific circumstances. Every student must obtain a Temporary Instructional Permit before they can participate in driving sessions and/or tests.

Road Skills Test
Our Road Skills Test consists of an on-the-road evaluation of your knowledge of the basic operation of a vehicle as well as your mastery of driving laws and skills. You must obtain a score of 70 or above to pass. A $20 retake fee will apply if a passing score is not received. Fees for testing are non-refundable. Road skills tests are offered to current Go Team Driving School students who have completed the Teen Driver's Ed Course / Adult Driver's Ed Course as well as students who have completed their driver's education training at another approved school . The road test must be taken in the Go Team Driving vehicle and will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. Every student must obtain a Temporary Instructional Permit from the DMV before they are allowed to take the Road Skills test.
