Stanley’s Driver Training Inc. is your trusted, family-owned and -operated driving school, proudly serving the west side of Cincinnati for nearly 40 years. We were founded in 1977 by Lieutenant Jim Stanley, a respected Cincinnati Police officer for over 25 years and the familiar “Eye In The Sky” traffic reporter on WLW. After Jim’s retirement, John and Michelle Stanley cultivated and grew the business for more than three decades. Following John’s passing in 2012, Michelle Stanley continues to own and run the company, carrying on a family legacy you simply won’t find at a franchise. When you call, you may be surprised to find you’re speaking directly with Michelle, the owner herself. We’re proud to exclusively serve the west side, with two classroom locations and four on-site driver education programs at LaSalle, McAuley, Seton, and Elder High Schools. This lets us teach your teen in the very areas where they’ll do most of their driving—especially important, since most crashes occur within a 25-mile radius of home. Ohio requires 24 hours of classroom time and 8 hours of behind-the-wheel training, but how those hours are taught makes all the difference. At Stanley’s, we believe in giving extra time to a struggling student, partnering with local high schools to promote safer driving, and simply doing whatever it takes to help every driver make it home safely every night.
