Overview
Old National Road Driving Institute opened its doors in September 2012. Owned by Eric and Carla Robertson of Greenfield, IN, we are proud to be the only independently owned driver education company in the area. Our mission is to deliver high-quality driver education and traffic safety programs that equip students with the skills, habits, and attitudes needed for a lifetime of safe driving. We continually integrate updated technology into our classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction to keep students engaged and improve their learning outcomes. Committed to exceptional customer service, we truly enjoy teaching and mentoring the next generation of responsible drivers. ONR Driving Institute is fully certified and approved by the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles, the Indiana Department of Education, and the AAA Motor Club of Indiana.

Teen Driver Education - Classroom & Driving
The Teen Driver Education course consists of 30 classroom hours and 6 hours of behind the wheel instruction with state certified instructors. Student must be at least 15 years of age by the first day of class. Any absences must be made up per state regulations. All students must have a permit before scheduling Behind the Wheel appointments (please see the FAQ page for additional regulations). A $105 deposit is due within 7 days of the online registration to hold your seat. This depost is non-refundable, but may be transferred to a different class. The total cost for this course is $365. Balances must be paid by the start of the first class. We accept cash, check or money order. We DO NOT accept debit or credit cards.

AAA Teen Driver Education - Online & Driving Course
AAA certified Drivers Education program is approved by the Indiana BMV. Students need to register and pay fee in full, prior to starting the online course. Once payment is received, a packet will be mailed with log in information that will allow you access to the online course. The CDE form, needed to obtain a permit, will also be included in the packet. Online course must be completed within 180 days and drive times must be scheduled within 60 days of this completion. Total cost for this course is $375. We accept cash, check or money order. We DO NOT accept debit or credit cards.

Behind the Wheel Only
This course provides the state required 6 hours of driving instruction. Teens who have taken a state approved online course and have received their certificate of completion are eligible. The certificate of completion and full payment must be received before a CDE form will be issued (if needed) or any driving times can be scheduled. All driving sessions are one-on-one instruction and are (1) hour in length. This course is also good for anyone 16 years or older that currently holds a permit and is looking for additional driving instruction. Total cost for this course is $325. We accept cash, check or money order. We DO NOT accept debit or credit cards.
