Behind the Wheel Driving Academy

Behind The Wheel is a full-service driver education provider serving roughly 2,000 students each year across eight counties in southern Indiana. Our program and instructors are fully accredited by the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles. Every instructor completes rigorous certification, including thorough background checks and physical exams. Indiana residents age 15 and older can begin with our convenient online course. After finishing the online portion, students receive personalized, one-on-one driving lessons in our fully insured vehicles. To make scheduling easier for families, instructors pick up students directly from home or school for each session. Learners who complete the full program and meet the state’s required passing average are also eligible to schedule their official road test through us.
