Teen Driver’s Education Curriculum
Our state-approved driver’s education program includes 30 hours of classroom instruction, at least 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training, 6 hours of observation time, and a passing score on the written exam. For official state guidelines on teen driver safety, please visit: http://www.cyberdriveillinois.com/departments/drivers/teen_driver_safety/home.html
Classroom Instruction
Our classroom sessions prepare students to navigate traffic laws safely and responsibly. The curriculum covers defensive driving techniques, vehicle operation, driver behavior, auto insurance and financial responsibility, hazard perception, emergency procedures, and proper use of vehicle safety features.
Behind-the-Wheel Training
To comply with Illinois Secretary of State requirements, students must complete at least four hours of classroom instruction and obtain a valid Illinois Instruction Permit before beginning in-car lessons.
Driving Instructors
Our state-certified instructors are experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated to student success. We prioritize a patient, respectful, and supportive learning environment to help every teen build confidence behind the wheel.
