Overview
The Substance Abuse Traffic Offenders’ Program (SATOP) is a network of court options available across Missouri. Its purpose is to provide an appropriate, community-based response to alcohol- and drug-related driving offenses. As an offender, you’ll be referred to an Offender Management Unit—like Accredited Traffic Offender Services—that is certified by the Department of Mental Health to conduct a state-approved screening. All SATOP providers must hold certification from the Missouri Department of Mental Health, Division of Alcohol and Drug Abuse.
