Whether you’re brand-new to motorcycles or a seasoned rider looking to level up, Ride Chicago has the training that’s right for you. More than 10,000 riders have earned their Illinois motorcycle license with us, and our graduates consistently achieve a 90% pass rate on the state exam—the highest in Illinois. We make it easy by hosting on-site testing with Illinois state examiners, so you can take your license test in the same familiar environment where you trained, with full confidence. Our courses cover every stage: basic, intermediate, and advanced, plus private one-on-one lessons for personalized instruction. All classes are led by Illinois State-Certified Instructors who prioritize maximum seat time, giving you plenty of real-world practice. Every graduate is invited to test right at our facility, and 90% pass on their first attempt.

  • Basic Motorcycle Licensing Class

    Our most popular class. This course covers a wide array of motorcycling skills over two days of instruction. We have Chicago Motorcycle Riding , West Suburbs Motorcycle Riding Insurance Discounts Many insurance companies offer discounts if you have completed our class!

  • Scooter Class

    Scooters are a cool and fun economical source of transportation. Get moving safely and obtain your license with proper Chicago scooter class. Scooters Provided! Already own one? Bring it to class with prior authorization! Yes! You legally need an endorsement on your license to ride a scooter (of any cc).

  • Private Motorcycle Lessons

    Private Motorcycle Lessons are available! Fine tune specific skills. $65/hour - 2 hour Minimum. For EXPERIENCED riders, you can qualify to participate in our ONSITE Licensing program ($45) with us after a minimum of 2 hours private lessons. Motorcycle permit required!

  • Onsite Licensing

    Licensing tests for our graduates are held every Wednesday at Damen and select Thursdays at Toyota Park. Registration is required! Check the schedule for exact dates!
