Students must have a learner’s permit before registering for any driver education class. Payment is required to start, and the balance must be paid in full at least one week before the class start date. You can register and pay online.
No prior driving practice is required before class. However, by the end of the course your student will need to be proficient behind the wheel. If they aren’t, they’ll be asked to take the driving test with the DOT to get their license. We encourage you to practice driving with your student to help them build confidence.
