Overview

CTC was founded in 1998 after its principal partners left Leeward Community College. There, they had designed the testing procedures and classes for the Commercial Driver’s License Program, creating courses, books, and classroom materials for every CDL test. They went on to develop CDL skill training, driver improvement programs, forklift training and certification, as well as specialized courses for airport rescue firefighting operations, hazardous materials transportation, and personnel lift training and certification.
