For over a decade, Towne Lake Driving School has proudly served families across Cherokee and Cobb County. We believe that learning to drive safely is a process that requires time, focus, and dedicated attention. By partnering closely with the families we serve, we work toward one shared goal: building lasting confidence and real-world driving skills through personalized instruction and consistent practice.

Joshua's Law Classroom and Behind-the-Wheel Program (30/6)
Fulfills all "Joshua's Law" requirements. 30-hours classroom instruction - Professional educator, licensed by the State of Georgia, nationally recognized curriculum. 6-hours behind-the-wheel training - State inspected training vehicle, broken into three 2-hour training sessions after the classroom portion is complete. Parents or students should contact us at the school to schedule individual behind-the-wheel training. Students must have a valid learners permit before scheduling a behind the wheel training sessions.

Behind-the-Wheel only - Available in 2-Hour Increments
Behind-the-wheel training - State inspected training vehicle, broken into 2-hour training sessions after the classroom portion is complete. Parents or students should contact us at the school to schedule individual behind-the-wheel training. Students must have a valid learners permit before scheduling a behind the wheel training sessions. (DDS certificate issued after completion of 6-hours of behind-the-wheel training)

Driver Improvement / Defensive Driving
Providing the highest quality in driver education and in defensive driving, we are very pleased to offer this course to our community!. Classroom Course Towne Lake Driving School's Driver Improvement Program has received the approval and is licensed by the State Department of Driver's Services. The state approved course is designed to 1. Reduce automobile insurance rates (Georgia Law O.C.G.A. 33-9-42) 2. Reduce up to 7 points from your individual driving record (Georgia Law O.C.G.A. 40-5-86) 3. Provide an avenue of license reinstatement (Georgia Law O.C.G.A. 40-5-84(b)) 4. Provide fine reduction or comply with court order (Georgia Law O.C.G.A. 40-5-57) 5. Fine reduction or no points assessment in accordance (Georgia Law O.C.G.A. 40-5-57) 6. Meet employer training and safety requirements. Certificates of Completion are issued immediately.
