Overview
Don A. Brock, a former high school basketball coach at the Academy of Richmond County, spent several years teaching driver education for the Richmond County School System and Augusta State University before establishing our school.
In 1992, he founded Brock's Driver Education School, Inc. at 1210 Russell Street. We started with just two full-time employees, one part-time instructor, and a single training vehicle, initially offering only one-on-one behind-the-wheel instruction. Within a year, we expanded our curriculum to include the Driver Education Certificate Course, the Individual Driving Course, and private lessons.
In 1995, we relocated to 4053-A Belair Road. Two years later, we hired three additional instructors and a part-time office assistant, and we expanded our fleet of training cars to better meet student needs.
Brock's Driver Education School is fully licensed by the Georgia Department of Driver Services and is a member of the Driving School Association of the Americas. Every instructor on our staff is certified by the Georgia Department of Driver Services and is qualified to administer our Alcohol and Drug Course.
