At A Treasure Coast Driving School, our instructors are active public school teachers who hold Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees in education and are fully certified in driver education. This professional background ensures our teaching approach is effective, relatable, and tailored to how students actually learn. Our story began in the summer of 1990, when a parent from Martin County High School’s summer program asked for private lessons to ease the tension of practicing behind the wheel with their child. Our founder, John Bolen, took on the request and quickly developed teaching techniques that proved highly successful. He later refined those methods into a copyrighted curriculum now used by numerous Florida school districts and commercial driving schools across the country. What started as a single summer request has grown into a 22-car fleet. Today, we continue to partner with local school districts and teach individuals throughout Florida and the United States, all with the same mission: helping every student drive safely and confidently for life.
