Overview
The Northeast Florida Safety Council was founded in 1942 by Jacksonville business leaders concerned about rising traffic dangers in our community.
That founding mission still drives our work today. Alcohol impairment, speeding, and failure to wear seat belts remain the leading causes of fatal crashes, which is why we champion a strong safety culture. Prioritizing safety benefits both organizations and their employees—whether on the job, behind the wheel, or at home. As a nonprofit, we proudly serve nine counties across Northeast Florida. With five facilities, dozens of community partners, and a dedicated team of more than 25 professionals, we offer comprehensive environmental health, workplace safety, and traffic training courses tailored to your needs.
