NE Florida Safety Council

Northeast Florida Safety Council was founded in 1942 by a group of dedicated Jacksonville businessmen who were concerned about the growing traffic problems in our community. Their purpose still motivates us today, because the three biggest causes of roadway fatalities are alcohol, speeding, and not wearing a seat belt. A strong safety culture benefits business and employees alike—at work, on the road, and at home. Today, as a nonprofit, we proudly serve nine Northeast Florida counties with five facilities, dozens of partners, more than 25 team members, and over 1,200 environmental, health, safety, and traffic training courses to meet your needs.
