Northeast Florida Safety Council
Training families since 1965
Overview
The Northeast Florida Safety Council was founded in 1942 by Jacksonville business leaders who wanted to address growing traffic safety challenges in our community.
That founding mission still guides our work today. Alcohol impairment, speeding, and failure to wear seat belts remain the leading causes of traffic fatalities, which is why we champion a strong culture of safety. Prioritizing safety benefits both businesses and employees—at work, on the road, and at home. Operating as a nonprofit, we now proudly serve nine Northeast Florida counties. Backed by five training facilities, dozens of community partners, and a dedicated staff of more than 25 professionals, we offer a wide range of environmental health, safety, and traffic education courses tailored to your needs.
