Overview

Northeast Florida Safety Council was founded in 1942 by a group of dedicated Jacksonville businessmen who were concerned about rising traffic issues in the community. That same purpose drives us today, because the three leading causes of roadway fatalities remain alcohol, speeding, and not wearing a seat belt. A strong safety culture benefits businesses and their employees—at work, on the road, and at home. Today, as a nonprofit serving nine Northeast Florida counties, we offer more than 1,200 environmental, health, safety, and traffic training courses through five facilities, dozens of partners, and a team of over 25 professionals.
