A Treasure Coast Driving School

At Treasure Coast Driving School, every instructor is a currently employed public school teacher with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in education, along with formal certification in Driver Education. Thanks to their professional teaching backgrounds, our methods are relevant, relatable, and highly effective. When learning to drive, there is no substitute for instruction from a trained educator. Treasure Coast Driving School was founded in the summer of 1990. It all began when a parent of a Martin County High School summer driver education student asked her son’s teacher for private lessons. The parent and teen were experiencing too much frustration and tension while practicing behind the wheel. That day, our founder, John Bolen, discovered he could teach driving more effectively using specialized techniques. Over the years, he refined those early methods into a copyrighted curriculum now used by multiple Florida school districts and commercial driving schools nationwide. What started as a single request for help has grown into a 22-vehicle fleet. Today, we continue to fulfill our original mission by serving local school districts and drivers throughout Florida and the United States, helping everyone learn to drive safely and confidently for a lifetime.
