Broward County Traffic and DUI School

The Broward-Dade Safety Council began in 1969 as the Broward County Commission on Alcoholism. Over the decades, this nonprofit agency grew into Florida’s first DUI program and later operated as the Broward Court Alcohol and Substance Abuse Program. After expanding its services to include traffic education in the 1980s and 1990s, the organization adopted its current name. Today, we provide comprehensive DUI programs, substance abuse evaluations, and educational services, including: - State of Florida-approved Level I and Level II DUI School in Broward County. - 4-hour Basic, 8-hour Intermediate, and 12-hour Advanced Driver Improvement courses for traffic violations. - Aggressive Driving classes. - Drug, Alcohol, and Traffic Education courses required for first-time drivers in Florida. - Prevention Through Education courses for court-mandated marijuana and other drug offenses. - Victim Impact Panels for DUI offenders. - Online drug education programs delivered through 3rd Millennium Classrooms in partnership with the Broward-Dade Safety Council.
