A-Team Driving School was founded by three close friends—Andrew, Gary, and Jason—who spent years working together as Health and Physical Education teachers. They always jokingly called themselves the “A-Team” because of their shared commitment to excellence, hard work, and going above and beyond for their students. That same passion led them to realize a long-held dream: opening their own driving school to deliver the best instruction possible.   • 6-Hour Behind-the-Wheel Instruction

    Our most popular service! Students receive 6 hours of behind-the- wheel practice and instruction from any of our incredible instructors. Lessons are broken up into 2 separate 3-hour sessions. Students will practice all skills necessary to be a successful driver and obtain a NJ State Permit. If you want to get your Probationary license as soon as you turn 17, you must utilize this service. Students will receive a NJ state permit and insurance certificate upon completion.

  • Road Test Service

    Our second most popular service. Students will receive approximately 1 hour of practice and refresher time with one of our instructors prior to taking the road test for their probationary driver's license. Students will then be driven to their road test with our instructor and take their test in the driving school car. Upon passing the test, our instructor will wait with the student while their license is being processed.

  • Brush-up Driving Lessons

    Still need a little more practice with a licensed instructor? Worried about your babysitter/caretaker driving your kids around? Worried about the safety of an elderly driver? Utilize this service for as little or as long as you like to reach the comfort level you deserve with your driver. Documented feedback is provided with any further recommendation.

  • NJ State Written Exam

    Turn 16 already but don’t want to wait to take your written test at school? Come to A-Team Driving School and we will give you the test so you can get a head start on getting your permit.
