Drive On Time Driving School

Drive On Time Driving School is a licensed and approved driving school in Maryland, founded by John Wright in 2008. John’s passion for driving and his commitment to helping young people succeed led him to create a school that treats driving as both a vital life skill and a serious responsibility. Driving opens doors, but it demands respect—used carelessly, it can cause lasting harm to lives and communities. We offer in-person and virtual driver education classroom courses that satisfy the Maryland MVA’s 30-hour requirement. Our behind-the-wheel lessons are calm, patient, and safe, covering the 6-hour requirement to complete driver education. Beyond the core program, Drive On Time Driving School provides extra practice hours, rental of our cars for the MVA skills test, Driver Improvement Program and Young Driver Improvement Program classes, 3-hour alcohol education classes, and training for driving instructors—including advanced instruction for apprentices and professional development courses for experienced instructors.
