Dexterity Driving School

The road test evaluates the ability of a student driver to safely operate a motor vehicle, to properly use traffic signals, traffic management and several other driving skills. The test requires use of a car. Dexterity Driving School is a DC-certified third party tester. Dexterity is fully certified to conduct road test examinations on behalf of the DC-DMV. Dexterity DC-DMV road test and its process are fully in compliance with the DC-DMV laws, rules and regulations. All road tests take place at the DC-DMV Brentwood location (1205 Brentwood Rd NE). Call us today at 202-291-6410 and schedule your DC-DMV road test within 48 hours. You cannot register for this service if you have had Behind-the-Wheel driving lessons with Dexterity Driving School. However, you can call our office and we will be pleased to schedule your Third Party Road Test with another driving school partner as soon as you as possible (minimum is 48 hours). Because of the normal hours of operation at the DC DMV Brentwood location, Third party tests may only be scheduled during the following hours TUESDAY- SATURDAY 9.00AM- 3.00PM

District of Columbia residents who are obtaining a driver license for the first time will be required to take mandatory driver education in order to be issued a driver license from the District of Columbia Department of Motor Vehicles (DC DMV) effective May 1, 2016. Any District resident who has never held a license and who does not have a learner permit issued before May 1st will have to enroll in driver education (Driver’s Ed) Dexterity Driving School (DDS) offered Driver’s Ed in three different sessions Regular, expedited and Private session. All sessions can only start if the minimum number of student has registered (indicated per session). In case you’re scheduled for a session and we do not have enough student to start the session, you will be notify at least 72 hours before the beginning of your session and with a list of session that you can be rescheduled to attend.
