Old Town Driving School

Kevin Gahart is the owner and Chief Instructor of Old Town Driving School. He founded the school after his own three children went through behind-the-wheel training and he was let down by the experience. In his view, both private and public driving schools seemed more focused on handing out licenses than on making sure students were truly ready to drive. The safety gaps, along with rigid schedules and hard‑to‑reach locations, convinced him that families deserved better. That’s why in 2013 he opened Old Town Driving School — to provide professional, conscientious, and truly flexible driving instruction. Since then, over 1,000 families have placed their trust in him. We never hire an instructor just to fill an opening. Instead, we look for the rare people who have a calm temperament, can genuinely connect with teenagers, make lessons professional yet enjoyable, and know how to teach to each student’s individual level.
