Overview

We’re an MVA-certified driving school, approved to offer a complete 36-hour Driver’s Education course (30 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training), a 3-hour Drug and Alcohol Awareness class, and the Driver Improvement Program. Completing the Driver’s Education course makes you eligible for a Maryland provisional license—or a full license if you’re over 25. State law requires all first-time drivers, regardless of age, to take an MVA-certified course before getting a license, and the good news is you don’t need a learner’s permit to start. In fact, most students find that taking the class first gives them a real advantage when it’s time to pass the MVA permit test. The course has two parts: a classroom portion you can begin without a permit, and an in-car driving portion you can schedule after you’ve obtained your learner’s permit. Classroom sessions run Monday through Friday for two weeks—no weekend classes are offered.
