AA Driving Academy

Since 1994, AA Driving Academy has been dedicated to teaching safe, responsible, and accountable driving. Over the years, we've trained and licensed more than 70,000 student drivers, giving them the skills to drive confidently and defensively.

We offer a full range of services to meet your needs. Our specialty is defensive, collision-free driving techniques backed by solid classroom theory. This combination gives you a thorough understanding of road rules, regulations, and real-world safe driving practices. Choose from behind-the-wheel training, driver improvement courses, reckless/aggressive driving programs, driver education, and re-examination prep.

Our instructors bring a unique level of expertise. Some are active and retired police officers with years of experience in traffic law enforcement, emergency driving, collision investigation, and traffic court. Every instructor is a college graduate, professionally trained, and holds specialized collegiate credentials in driver education. All are licensed by the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles, certified by the American Automobile Association and the National Safety Council, and pass annual FBI background checks and DMV driving record audits.
