Overview

With 34 years of high school teaching experience and a DMV Master Instructor certification, I have seen firsthand how exciting it is to earn a driver’s license. To help new drivers understand the responsibility that comes with that freedom, I founded the Driver Education Station. We offer classroom and behind-the-wheel training for teenagers and adults, led by state-certified instructors who know that every learner is different. You will always be treated with patience and respect. Because we understand how nerve-wracking it can be to get behind the wheel, we design each lesson to match your comfort level and skill set. Rather than pushing everyone through a rigid schedule, our program adapts to your pace. We are not a high-volume driving school focused on rushing students through. Instead, we prioritize quality instruction and always put your individual needs and safety first.

    Full Driver Education Program! This discounted package includes 30-Hours of Classroom and 8-Hours of private Behind-the-Wheel training. This package, along with any of our packages that offers more than 30-Hours of Classroom and 8-Hours of private Behind-the-Wheel training, allows for a student to test for their Connecticut Driver's License after holding their Learner's Permit for 120 Full-Days. For any package that we offer consisting of less than 30-Hours of Classroom and 8-Hours of Behind-the-Wheel training, a student will have to hold their Learner's Permit for 180 Full-Days prior to testing for their Connecticut Driver's License. In either case, you must be at least sixteen (16) years-old on the day you begin your Driver Education Program with us!
