Overview
Santo Driving School, LLC is a family-owned and operated business. In 1966, Santo Calafiore, an Italian immigrant, opened his first location on Franklin Avenue in Hartford’s South End. Starting with a single car, Santo learned enough Spanish, Portuguese, Greek, and Polish to teach people from all backgrounds to drive. He has helped multiple generations earn their driver’s licenses.
