Overview

Global Driving School is a third-generation, family-owned business. In 1989, Louis Prado and his sons, Dan and John, opened our first location in Windsor to provide professional driver instruction. A few years later, Jessica Johnson, a program graduate, joined the team as co-owner and office manager. All of our owners hold state-issued Master Instructor licenses and work on-site daily. For over twenty years, our Broad Street location in Windsor has served students from the local community and surrounding high schools. In 2009, we expanded with a second location on Sullivan Avenue in South Windsor. Having two sites gives you the flexibility to schedule lessons at whichever location works best for you. We have assembled a team of Connecticut-certified instructors who share our commitment to safety and high-quality training. Each professional receives ongoing education on current driving laws and industry standards, bringing the patience and experience needed to help new drivers stay alert and confident behind the wheel. Global Driving School is proud to be a member of the South Windsor Chamber of Commerce and CDSP, a state organization dedicated to advancing the driver education profession. We operate six days a week with daily behind-the-wheel instruction available. Our goal is to prepare students in our communities to become safe, responsible, licensed drivers. We look forward to helping you earn your license.
