Wahlgren's Driving Academy

Wahlgren’s Driving Academy is a family-owned and operated business. For over 30 years, we’ve helped students become safe, confident drivers. The journey starts in the classroom. Every student completes 30 hours of driver’s education, typically held for three hours, twice a week, over five weeks. A final exam wraps up the classroom portion, and you’ll need a score of 80% or above to pass. Toward the end of each session, we also offer a 2‑hour Parent Driver’s Education class—so families can feel prepared for the road ahead. After classroom training, it’s time to get behind the wheel. Each student must log 12 hours of driving with a licensed instructor and 6 hours of observation alongside another student. On top of that, you’ll need 40 hours of additional practice driving with a licensed adult age 21 or older, who has at least one year of driving experience and sits in the passenger seat.
