RIMS Driving School

RIMS Driving School is owned by Suzanne Rimington. We offer classroom instruction and one-on-one in-car driving lessons. All classroom courses — including the 5 Hour Pre‑License Course and the 6 Hour Defensive Driving Class — are taught by Suzanne, a licensed instructor with the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles. She brings the most current information to every session in a comfortable, supportive setting. As the owner and instructor, I’m passionate about making the roads safer for everyone. That enthusiasm and deep knowledge make a real difference in the classroom. Until further notice, all classroom courses are held live on Zoom and are open to ages 16 and older. When in‑person classes resume, they’ll return to convenient locations like the Courtyard by Marriott Kingston, Poughkeepsie Galleria Mall, and Galleria at Crystal Run Middletown Mall, where you’ll enjoy comfortable seating and easy access to food court options during breaks. Our one‑on‑one driving lessons are conducted in‑car, giving you practical, hands‑on experience behind the wheel.
