Overview

A+ Driving School is proud to hold an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and earned the Gold Star award for eight consecutive years, from 2003 through 2010. We’re also members of the National Safety Council, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting health and protecting lives. Our school is approved by the State of Colorado and registered with the Colorado Department of Revenue’s Division of Motor Vehicles. Since our doors opened on March 1, 2001, we’ve been committed to giving new drivers thorough, reliable training. Our instructors bring an average of 19 years of driving experience and come from diverse professional backgrounds—including education, commercial driving, and technology. Simply put, we love teaching driver’s education.

Training Programs

  • 36 Hour Classroom

    This program offers 30 hours of classroom instruction, the permit test, and 6 hours of behind the wheel training. It is state accredited and insurance approved!

  • 4 Hour Classroom

    The four hour Driver Awareness course is centered around defensive structure. This class includes no behind-the-wheel time, nor does the price include the permit test.

  • Driving Lessons

    We do driving lessons and reassessments for people of all ages. Our lessons are in two hour increments. We drive with students 7 days a week by appointment only! Please plan to call in several weeks before you would be ready for your first lesson, and keep in mind that the more advance in notice we have, the better we will be able to accommodate you for holidays, weekends, or any time frame that you may be working under. All drive lessons are private instruction. Only the student and instructor are in the car. Our instructors never push the student to do anything they are not capable of. Parents are more than welcome to ride along with their child. Driving lessons must be paid in advance at the time of scheduling. We only accept cash or credit for this instruction, so please plan accordingly.

  • License Testing

    In order to get your Colorado State driver's license, you need to meet the following requirements. The State of Colorado does not issue any type of hardship license. A+ Driving School can administer the driving exam for you to get your license.
