Start Smart Driving Academy proudly serves new and returning drivers across the Southwest Metro Denver area. Based in Lakewood, Colorado, we help students build the confidence, skill, and awareness they need for a lifetime of safe driving. We take on an important challenge every day: teaching people to be safe and courteous behind the wheel. This responsibility matters deeply to us, because safe driving saves lives. Founded by Gary and Vachelle Voss, our family-owned and operated school focuses on personalized instruction for teenagers, adults, and seniors. With the Denver metro area growing rapidly, roads are more crowded while infrastructure hasn’t kept pace—making safe driving skills more critical than ever. More vehicles in less space is a recipe for accidents, and we’re committed to being part of the solution.
