Established in 1993, Colorado Driving Institute has provided quality driver instruction for over 25 years. As a small, locally owned business, we are dedicated to making our roads safer through the expert guidance of state-certified instructors.
Our curriculum focuses on modern risk management techniques that build on traditional defensive driving. Students learn to continuously identify potential hazards, make sound decisions, and apply quick corrections. We also teach essential skills like scanning the road ahead, maintaining a two-to-three-second following distance, and proactively avoiding collisions. With safety as our top priority, we use a collaborative approach that partners parents, students, and instructors to develop confident, capable drivers.
To help students prepare for the future of driving, our training fleet includes a variety of modern hybrid and electric vehicles.
