We have proudly served Colorado drivers since 2010, and we sincerely thank our students and families for their continued trust. As the first driving school in Colorado to hire exclusively first responders, we remain one of the few in the Denver area to maintain this standard. We stand confidently behind our promise: no one is better equipped to teach safe driving than our instructors.
What sets 911 Driving School apart? Every instructor is an active or former first responder who brings real-world emergency experience directly into the classroom. We intentionally keep class sizes small to provide personalized, high-quality instruction that addresses each student’s unique needs. 911 Driving School is not a high-volume processing center. We prioritize thorough education over rushing students through the curriculum. This commitment to real-world preparation and attentive teaching is why our students consistently achieve some of the highest test scores in Colorado.

Drive Fit
A 3 hour course designed for new drivers who's confidence and skill level are not synced together. This training is held on a closed course and concentrates on parking, reversing, lane changes, turning/curving, emergency braking and slalom/vision. Practice situational driving in a safe, controlled environment, Circuit of exercises in which drivers will experience multiple repetitions, Refine collision avoidance skills, Gain confidence behind the wheel, Parents observe training and apply later,Students must have a valid permit or license and a guardian in the vehicle (if the teen is unlicensed). Students use their own car. Check with your insurance agent to see about teen driving discounts for taking this course!

30 Hour Classroom and Written Permit Test
30 Hour Classroom Drivers Education (must be 14 & 6 months), Written Permit Test when eligible (must be 14 & 11 months), Class takes 2 weekends or 4 days straight. Date listed is first date of class. Minors who wish to get their Colorado Driver's License prior to age 16 1/2 must have the 6 hours BTW with a certified Instructor, which are not included with this package.

6 Hour behind the wheel driving instruction
Fulfills the state requirement for teens. Drive appointments must be paid in advance when scheduling.

Teen Package with Classroom
30 hour Classroom Drivers Education (must be 14 & 6 months, Written Permit Test when eligible (must be 14 & 11 months), 6 Hours Behind the Wheel Driving Instruction (completed during the year you hold your permit), Class takes 2 weekends or 4 days straight. Date listed is first date of class.

One Hour Evaluation Drive
Evaluate your driving skills. This one hour drive is conducted with one of or Driving Instructors where the Instructor will evaluate your driving abilities and knowledge. This is NOT a one hour driving lesson, although some instruction may be presented. Test your skills before taking the driving test See where your driving abilities need work

3 Hours Behind the Wheel
The 3 hour private driving lesson is conducted behind the wheel of one of our state approved instructional vehicles with a certified driving instructor. These lessons cover basic driving skills and knowledge, prepare the student for the Colorado Driver's License Road Test and can improve an experienced drivers ability behind the wheel. Typically completed over three 1-hour lessons. Students are required to have a valid state issued instructional driving permit OR state issued driver's license. Foreign driver's license or permit not accepted. *Does not include the Driver's License Road Test. Test available at a discounted rate.

10 Hour Behind the Wheel
The 10 hour private driving lesson is conducted behind the wheel of one of our state approved instructional vehicles with a certified driving instructor. These lessons cover basic driving skills and knowledge, prepare the student for the Colorado Driver's License Road Test and can improve an experienced drivers ability behind the wheel. Typically completed over five 2-hour lessons. Students are required to have a valid state issued instructional driving permit OR state issued driver's license. Foreign driver's license or permit not accepted. *Does not include the Driver's License Road Test. Test available at a discounted rate.

Driver's License Road Test (911 Vehicle Usage)
Colorado DMV no longer does Driver's License tests. All tests conducted at an approved testing center. Using our vehicles, our State Certified Examiners will conduct the State of Colorado Driver's License Road Test.
