National Driver Training, Colorado Springs

National Driver Training began in 1994 as the very first at-home, parent-taught driver’s education program in the United States, originally using textbooks and VHS tapes. As technology evolved, we kept pace—becoming the first fully online driver’s ed course and expanding to serve students in over 35 states. Along the way, we grew into a leading local driving school in Colorado Springs. In 2006 we extended into the Denver Metro area, and in 2009 we added Grand County. In 2011 our headquarters relocated to Austin, Texas, while our Colorado Springs office continued to flourish as one of the state’s busiest third-party testing centers. In early 2017, that Colorado Springs office became an independent company when it was purchased by an instructor who had been with us since 2008. Today, we remain deeply committed to driver safety and to shaping safe drivers for life.
