Overview
Hello, I’m John Kim.
What began as a summer job in 1997 quickly turned into a lifelong career. I was so eager to share what I learned as a new instructor that, within just a few months, I opened my own business: Marin Driving School.
During my very first week, I began teaching Driver’s Education at Redwood High School in Larkspur. Today, I am proud to be the only DMV-certified instructor in Marin County authorized to teach classroom Driver’s Ed for minors at local high schools.
This direct classroom experience keeps me fully updated on the latest DMV regulations and testing standards. Because I oversee the entire learning process, I personally review and sign every completion certificate.
