We are a growing community of riders who share a passion for motorcycling and a strong commitment to safety. Learn in a positive, supportive environment where every lesson is engaging and enjoyable. Our rider coaches are experienced, highly trained, and deeply dedicated to teaching—we have carefully selected the best instructors to guide your progress. Are you a new rider who just bought your first bike, or ready to get on two wheels for the very first time? Start with our beginner class. We proudly offer the California Highway Patrol’s Motorcyclist Training Course every week. You do not need your own motorcycle; we provide a well-maintained training bike, helmet, and gloves at no extra charge. Getting started is simple—just enroll in the MTC and hit the course. Already a daily commuter or weekend cruiser? We have advanced training for you, too. Explore our Next Step courses to sharpen your technique and build confidence beyond the basics.   • CHP MTC (Motorcyclist Training Course) | Under 21

    The California Motorcyclist Safety Program Motorcyclist Training Course (CMSP MTC) is designed for the novice rider with no (or limited) street-riding experience. This course includes both classroom and on-cycle instruction. You will learn fundamental skills required to operate the motorcycle and progress to street riding skills and strategies. The course is based on the most current research in rider safety and utilizes modern training methods.

  • Harley-Davidson Riding Academy

    AMO is the exclusive training provider conducting the Harley-Davidson® Riding Academy at Glendale Harley-Davidson, Home of the Love Ride. AMO’s professional instructors are certified to conduct the additional aspects of HD’s New Rider Course, essentially the CHP MTC with the classroom held at Glendale HD and riding held at the Glendale Civic Auditorium.

  • AMO More Riding

    AMO offers riders a course that builds more confidence with more practice before heading out on the LA streets and freeways. More Riding is four hours of riding challenging exercises on your bike or one of our training bikes and is without any classroom elements. We provide full-faced helmet and gloves as needed. It is also a great course for returning riders who need to get reacquainted with motorcycling. We also recommend this course to anyone with their own bike as a way to learn more about its capabilities and limitations is a safe environment with professionally certified instructors. So bring your bike if you have one. Or, you can always use ours if you desire.

  • Intermediate Riding Clinic (Total Control)

    The IRC is your next step to improve your skills on your own bike. This one-day course includes both riding theory and concepts with lots of relevant on-your bike practice. Other riders have reported that the IRC significantly improved their riding skills, confidence and ability to make better choices about when and how to ride.
