Overview
California Defensive Driving School is bonded, insured, and licensed by the Department of Motor Vehicles to provide both classroom and behind-the-wheel driver education. We were founded as a partnership between Walter Schall and Jarrod Bradley. With over two decades of teaching experience, Mr. Schall has guided new drivers through more than 20,000 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction—serving both teens and adults—alongside a 30‑year career as a professional bowler. Mr. Bradley holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geophysics, a Master’s degree in Education from UC Santa Barbara, and a California Single Subject Teaching Credential. Together with our entire team, they strive to deliver an unparalleled learning experience for young drivers in the Santa Barbara area.
