Riding Beyond the Basics Has it been awhile since you’ve been on 2 wheels? Did you recently get a new bike or just want more saddle time? Come out to our super fun Riding Beyond the Basics refresher course and brush up on your technique. We practice the life saving skills (quick stops, cornering and swerving) in a safe, controlled training lot. Riding safely is a practice and a practice is something you do! The class focuses on street riding skills. A few exercises include riding through the “Swiss Alps” and “Staying Alive on the 405”. There is no pressure of passing a test, the goal is simply to become a better rider. All levels are welcome. This is a refresher class for those who are trained and licensed and want more time to practice. Ride your bike or rent one of ours! 3 hours of riding. Long Beach City College.

The CMSP STATE CURRICULUM IS STRICTLY SEQUENTIAL Participants must attend all sessions in the exact order as indicated in their reservation. There are no deviations. All courses begin with Classroom 1. NO LATE ARRIVALS. Anyone arriving late to any session will be dismissed and will forfeit their course fee. REFUND POLICY There are no refunds. RESCHEDULE POLICY There are no reschedules.

Private lessons are not required before taking the entry-level CMSP MTC. However, some people learn better one-on-one. Some say it is better to invest the time and money for a 90-minute private lesson to decide if riding a motorcycle is really something they wish to pursue. You will know after one lesson if this is something you want to continue to do! We have dedicated the following dates to offer private lessons to anyone who may have been thinking about taking a class, but may not be ready to invest three days to find out. All private lessons include use of a training motorcycle and helmet.
