Safety First Driving School

For more than 25 years, Safety First Driving School has proudly served the Ventura County community. Our highly experienced team includes many instructors who have been with us for over a decade. Every instructor completes comprehensive DMV training, passes a physical and driving exam, and clears a strict background check. We provide both male and female instructors and customize every lesson to fit the student, including specialized instruction for teens and adults with disabilities. We offer online driver’s education, behind-the-wheel training, and traffic school courses. Whether you are preparing for your first driver’s license or need to remove a point from your record, our dedicated staff across Ventura and Los Angeles counties is here to help. We currently serve Malibu (additional fee applies), Calabasas, Agoura Hills, Oak Park, Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks, Moorpark, Newbury Park, and Camarillo, and we work to accommodate students located outside our primary service area whenever possible. Our driver’s education program welcomes students of all ages. Teens who are 15 ½ must complete this course before taking the DMV permit test, while drivers 17 ½ and older may take it for extra preparation, even if it is not required. With a pass rate exceeding 99% over our history, we are committed to helping every student succeed and offer extra support for those who need additional practice.
