Welcome, and thank you for visiting our website and considering A-Z Driving School for your son or daughter’s driver education. We look forward to building a long-term relationship with your family. In the next 360 minutes of behind-the-wheel training, our goal is to accelerate your child’s learning at a pace they can truly absorb and understand.
When your teen makes rational, calculated decisions behind the wheel, they dramatically reduce their risk of a serious crash. During our lessons, we train them to recognize potential hazards and always choose the safest response – the heart of defensive driving. For example, they’ll learn exactly how to approach a yield intersection for a right turn without getting rear-ended.
We understand the immense concern you feel about your child’s safety on the road. Our highly qualified instructors make sure your teen not only practices defensive driving but understands the wisdom behind it. Together, we can work as a team to achieve the same goal: building safe driving skills for life.
Please take a look at the DMV booklet titled “Parent-Teen Training Guide” on our “Useful Resources” page. This guide is filled with valuable training material for both you and your child. It explains how to give effective driving instructions and includes a “Safe Driver Checklist” on page 33 to help you pinpoint skills that need improvement.
Additionally, pages 39 and 40 of the booklet contain the Supervised Driving Log, making it easy to track practice hours and progress. Remember, your child is required to complete 50 hours of driver training with you (40 daytime hours and 10 nighttime hours). We look forward to starting a successful journey together and becoming your preferred driving school.

Single Driving Lesson
This service is: Good for you if you are preparing for a driving test and want to brush-up on your driving skills. Good for you if you are not sure how many more driving lessons you need but right now you know you need at least one lesson and there is possibility you may add more lessons in the future.

6 Hours of Behind the Wheel Training
This is our top seller: Minors : DMV required that minors complete these 6 hours before taking the driving test. Adults : Usually start with the 6 hours service offer but soon realize they need more since training outside of driving school lessons is not possible or very hard to find someone to train them. Seniors : We are experiencing an increase on driving lesson from seniors. They require training since the DMV deemed that they need to retake the Driving Test due to a number of reasons. Topics Covered Include: First lesson we cover: -Vehicle controls -SMBM/SMOG Technique -Control of Steering R/L -ControlGas/brake peddle control - The diff bet all way and not an all way stop sign. -Simple Right and left turns at stop signs -Backing up straight on curbside 100ft or 3car lengths Second Lesson we cover: - Warm up in reaidential area (about 10 -15 mins) -Right and left turns at traffic lights -Lane changing -Hill Parking - 3 point turns/U-Turn (residential ie courts) -Parking in a parking lot Third lesson - Warm up residential area 10-15 mins - Review of R&L turns at traffic lights as well as lane changes - U-turns -Parallel parking - Expressway or Freeway-if student is confident with lane changes. - Mock test (10-20 min)

10 Hours of Behind the Wheel Training
This Service offer is very ideal for students who need an experienced driver to train them after having completed the 6 hours but cannot find one or they are too busy to take them out training. International Students: Find this service offer of great benefit since they can relax knowing there is less time constraint on the material to be taught, so they learn at a relaxed pace. Students with busy parents: A-Z Driving School instructors assumes the role of the care taker by providing In-Car training to their dependents and preparing them for the drive test. Some parents don't want their child driving their vehicle until they pass the drive test. Some don't want their child to drive until they have completed at least 10 or more driving hours with a driving instructor.
