Welcome, and thank you for visiting our website and considering A-Z Driving School for your son or daughter’s driver education. We look forward to building a long-term relationship with your family. In the next 360 minutes of behind-the-wheel training, our goal is to accelerate your child’s learning at a pace they can truly absorb and understand.

When your teen makes rational, calculated decisions behind the wheel, they dramatically reduce their risk of a serious crash. During our lessons, we train them to recognize potential hazards and always choose the safest response – the heart of defensive driving. For example, they’ll learn exactly how to approach a yield intersection for a right turn without getting rear-ended.

We understand the immense concern you feel about your child’s safety on the road. Our highly qualified instructors make sure your teen not only practices defensive driving but understands the wisdom behind it. Together, we can work as a team to achieve the same goal: building safe driving skills for life.

Please take a look at the DMV booklet titled “Parent-Teen Training Guide” on our “Useful Resources” page. This guide is filled with valuable training material for both you and your child. It explains how to give effective driving instructions and includes a “Safe Driver Checklist” on page 33 to help you pinpoint skills that need improvement.

Additionally, pages 39 and 40 of the booklet contain the Supervised Driving Log, making it easy to track practice hours and progress. Remember, your child is required to complete 50 hours of driver training with you (40 daytime hours and 10 nighttime hours).
