Overview

Since 2005, Saddleback Rider Training has helped nearly 2,000 riders each year become safe, confident motorcyclists. Our team comes from every corner of the riding world: retired motorcycle officers, pro racers, daily commuters, dirt enthusiasts, and long-distance adventure tourers. Founder Lyle Sweeter has spent most of his adult life around motorcycles and riders, starting out teaching motorcycle repair and maintenance in Minnesota before moving into consulting and associate roles with American Honda Motor Co., Inc. He has taught new rider courses at Cerritos College and St. Cloud State University, and now, as director of Saddleback Rider Training, Lyle shares his passion with both newcomers and experienced riders looking to deepen their skills. Everyone here loves to ride, and we’re dedicated to helping you build safe habits from day one—so you can keep the rubber side down for years to come.

We can provide you with a helmet, or you may use your own DOT-approved helmet. Class size is limited to 12 per session, so you’ll always get the personal attention you need.
