Above and Beyond Trucking School

Introduction to Commercial Trucking – Here students will be taught everything they need to know to get their permit from DMV and all of their endorsements. Students will also learn introduction to brake checks and pre-trips on the truck. After receiving their permit, students will have the opportunity to back a tractor trailer rig. This course will include general knowledge, brake check, pre-trip, logbooks, doubles/triples, tankers, hazmat, air-brakes, and combinations. Recruiters from major trucking companies will come to the school to talk about different job opportunities, both local and over the road. Completion of this program gives the students who wish to enroll in company schools such as C.R. England’s Premier, or Swift Driving Academy, a step ahead of the competition!

This is where the rubber meets the road! Your confidence builds hour by hour as you back through our skills course! You will learn much more than just how to get your license, you’ll be running with the big dogs! We’ve surveyed trucking companies on what’s missing from other training programs and that’s our focus. You’ll have ‘real world’ experience in ‘real world’ trucks. We will teach double-clutching on ten-speed per transmissions, the backbone of the industry. You’ll learn how to safely come down mountains, and deal with rush hour traffic. Route planning skills are taught to maximize your earnings.
