Overview

Welcome to Safeway Driving School. Established in Simi Valley over 15 years ago, we are the premier driver training program in the East Ventura County area and proudly maintain a 5-star rating on Yelp and Google. Supported by the largest fleet and instructor staff in the region, we offer both online and behind-the-wheel training seven days a week, all at an affordable price. Every behind-the-wheel lesson is completely private, so your time is never shared with another student. We tailor each session to fit your personal learning style, creating a calm, stress-free environment that consistently exceeds parental expectations. Whether you are starting with little to no experience or simply need extra practice, our patient and encouraging instructors will help you build confidence while learning to drive courteously, responsibly, and safely. Safety and professionalism are the foundation of our program. Every Safeway instructor must pass rigorous training, testing, and thorough background checks, including Live Scan and DOJ investigations. To ensure ongoing compliance with our high standards, instructors renew their licenses every three years with updated screenings. We employ both male and female instructors who are highly adaptable to each student’s personality and needs. Our large team makes scheduling straightforward and stress-free. You can easily request a male or female instructor, or keep the same instructor for every lesson to build continuity, depending on availability. We provide convenient pickup directly from your home or school for all behind-the-wheel lessons. Our fleet features newer Toyota Corollas and Prius vehicles, each equipped with dual controls for added safety and peace of mind. Service Area: Simi Valley, Moorpark, Fillmore, Thousand Oaks, Oak Park, Westlake Village, Agoura Hills, Newbury Park, and Camarillo.
