Overview

We teach defensive driving and build the lifelong habits that keep our students safe as teens and for years to come. Our behind-the-wheel instruction and instructor training programs were created by retired CHP Officer Richard Richards, and the drivers education classroom curriculum was developed and taught by retired CHP Captain William Perlstein. Together, our driving instructors bring more than 80 years of combined law enforcement experience and have taught thousands of students across Monterey County.
