A & R Driving and Traffic School

A&R Driving and Traffic School opened in 2002 at 7077 Orangewood Avenue in Garden Grove. Originally operating as A&R Driving School, we moved to 12525 Knott Street in 2005 to better serve our community, and we remain proudly located in the area today. Our mission is to: 1. Equip students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to earn a driver’s license. 2. Teach defensive driving techniques that promote long-term safety on the road. 3. Give new teen drivers a strong foundation for a lifetime of safe driving. 4. Assist drivers with license renewals and reissues. 5. Deliver an informative, engaging, and enjoyable traffic school experience. We provide comprehensive driver training tailored to every eligible client. Our teen program includes the DMV-required 30-hour online Driver Education course plus a minimum of six hours of behind-the-wheel instruction. Adult courses are customized to individual goals, offering 10- or 14-hour beginner programs designed to guide students through the licensing process. We also provide freeway driving lessons, defensive driving workshops, refresher courses for senior drivers, and specialized training with adaptive vehicle equipment for students with physical challenges.
