As experienced California driving instructors, we made a firm decision: we will never “piggyback” students. Different skill and experience levels mean we wouldn’t want our own children in the car with another new driver—so why would we put your kids in that situation? It simply isn’t safe. This policy does make our days longer, and there are times we’re not earning, but we believe our students’ safety is far more important.
