Surf Check Driving School

Surf Check Driving School is a fully licensed, bonded, and insured California driving school. Instructor Mark has lived in Santa Cruz County for over 20 years and spent the past 15 years teaching driver education and training for Santa Cruz City Schools. Together with his wife and co-owner, Barbara, they bring more than 45 years of combined experience teaching in local public schools. As a proud, locally owned business, we are deeply committed to keeping Santa Cruz roads safe for everyone. We welcome teens, international students, and adult drivers of all ages. Our programs meet all California requirements for obtaining a learner’s permit or driver’s license. Our eco-friendly training vehicles are equipped with dual controls, including an instructor brake and an additional rearview mirror, to ensure a secure learning experience. Se habla Español.
