Thank you for visiting our website and considering A-Z Driving School as your son or daughter’s dedicated driving school. We’re excited to build a lasting relationship with you and your family. Our goal is to help your child learn quickly and confidently in a way they can truly absorb over their six hours of behind-the-wheel training.

When your child can make rational, calculated decisions on the road, their risk of a serious crash drops. During lessons, we train them to anticipate potential hazards and always choose the safest path—driving defensively. For example, they’ll learn how to approach a yield intersection to make a right turn without being rear-ended.

We understand your deep concern for your child’s safety behind the wheel. Our highly qualified instructors will make sure your child understands the wisdom of defensive driving. Together, we can work as a team to build safe, lasting driving life skills.

Please take a look at the DMV’s Parent-Teen Training Guide on our Useful Resources page. This guide is packed with valuable training material for you and your child, including tips on giving clear instructions. You’ll also find a Safe Driver Checklist on page 33 to help you spot skills that need more practice.

Additionally, pages 39 and 40 offer a Supervised Driving Log so you can track practice hours and progress. Your child is required to complete 50 hours of supervised driving with you—40 daytime hours and 10 at night.
